Terms of Service

Who you are dealing with

The AI receptionist service is provided by Barralaga Capital LLC, a New Jersey company. Questions about anything on this page go to admin@barralagacapital.com.

What the service is

We build, deploy and manage an AI receptionist that answers your business phone under your business name. It takes calls, collects the caller's name, number and what they need, and sends you a written summary of every call. Where your plan includes it, it can transfer a live caller to a person you nominate.

It takes down information — it does not commit you to anything. It does not book jobs, confirm appointments, quote prices you have not given us, or take payment. Your team confirms every job. If a caller asks whether they are speaking to a person, it says it is an AI.

What you pay

Plans, monthly prices, included minutes and one-time setup fees are shown on your proposal page and at checkout. The first month and the setup fee are charged when you sign up. After that the monthly fee recurs on the same day each month until you cancel. We do not price the service below $449 per month.

Minutes and overage

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of call minutes. Minutes over the allowance are billed at 35¢ per minute.

Our commitment on top of that: you will not get a surprise bill. If you run over your allowance two months in a row, we call you and move you to the plan that fits, rather than letting overage accumulate.

Cancelling

Month to month, no contract, no cancellation fee. Tell us and we stop the next charge. The month you have already paid for runs to the end of its term. Setup fees are not refundable once we have run your interview and built your receptionist, because that is the work they pay for.

Your phone number is yours throughout. Forwarding is something you switch on and off yourself with your own phone company, and we never take control of your number.

Your phone line

You keep your number and your phone service. Connecting the receptionist means forwarding calls from your existing line to a number we provide. You are responsible for your own phone service and its bill; we are responsible for the receptionist answering on the other end.

Calls, recordings and your data

Calls to your receptionist are transcribed, and are recorded where recording is switched on for your account. Where recording is on, the greeting tells callers so. Some states require every party to a call to consent to recording, and that disclosure is how we meet it — do not ask us to remove it while recording is on.

Call summaries, transcripts and recordings belong to you. We use them to run and improve your receptionist and for nothing else. We do not sell them. Ask and we will send you what we hold, or delete it.

Changes to your receptionist

Keeping it current is what the monthly fee covers. Prices change, people leave, you add a service — tell us and we update it. There is no charge for ordinary changes.

What we do not do

We do not take or hold your money beyond the fees above, and we do not process payments from your customers. We do not provide emergency, medical, legal or financial advice through the receptionist, and it is not a substitute for an emergency line. Regulated industries — medical, dental, legal, financial and insurance — need a separate conversation before we build anything.

Interruptions

The service runs on third-party telephone and AI providers. We aim to keep it answering every call and we monitor it, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If something breaks, tell us and fixing it comes first. In an outage your calls fall back to whatever your phone company does when our number does not answer, which is normally your existing voicemail.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects what you pay or what you get, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel. The date at the top always shows the current version.
